About

ADHCrafts offers bespoke small-batch fibre processing and hand spinning, with a focus on British sheep wool and other natural fibres where provenance can be clearly recorded. Services include fleece assessment, skirting advice, washing, preparation and small-batch processing into washed fibre, batts, rolags, roving or hand-spun yarn. I also offer support for owners who are unsure what their fleece is suitable for, helping them understand quality, yield, preparation options and possible end uses. Products and outcomes may include hand-spun yarn, prepared fibre for spinning, fibre for felting, educational fibre samples, beginner-friendly fibre kits and practical guides. My work is not based on a standardised production line; each fleece is assessed individually so the finished fibre reflects both the material and the customer’s goals. I currently work with a range of British sheep breeds, including native, rare, hill, longwool and crossbred fleeces, alongside alpaca fibre where suitable. Recent and planned work includes breed and fibre study samples, small-batch hand-spun yarn, educational fibre examples and bespoke processing for individual flock owners. The aim of my wool range is to support traceability, thoughtful making and greater appreciation of British fibre. I want customers to understand where their fibre comes from, how it has been handled, and why small-scale processing can help preserve the value and story of each fleece.
